LET'S CARE!

As the body of Christ each member of the church community is valuable and important. We are called to love one another and  to ‘carry each other’s burdens’.

This is done through meaningful relationships and commitment to one another. Sharing and caring requires knowledge of individual needs and our dependence on Jesus and prayer for solutions.

This ministry includes visiting the elderly, the sick and the bereaved as well as accompanying and supporting members in challenging and difficult situations.
It includes helping holistically: praying with people, providing community and helping with practical needs.

We encourage all members of the church to look out for each other and help where they can but needs can be made known to the deacons co-ordinating this ministry.

NEW

At least once a month we help “La Pasto” (Pastorale oecuménique de la Rue) with the preparation and distribution of meals to the homeless and the people of addiction who linger around Place de la Riponne.

We also work together with the “Center Sociale Adventiste” and collect food and other necessary items to the people in need in Lausanne.
